With Gladness & Singleness of Heart
“Eternal God…Send us now into the world in peace, and grant us strength and courage to love and serve you with gladness and singleness of heart; through Christ our Lord.” (Excerpt from the post-communion prayer)
One way of loving and serving God is recognizing the abundance in our lives by sharing our material wealth with our church. At St. Margaret we profess that the way of abundant life is found in choosing to follow Jesus with all that we are and all that we have. We acknowledge that this proclamation commits us to giving generously.
By making an investment in the future of St. Margaret this parish has the means to fully fund our shared worship and ministries. And each of us has a responsibility to give freely of what has been given to us. No amount is too small or too large. A pledge of any level represents your commitment to support our beloved parish.
To those of you who are not presently pledging to the work and future of St. Margaret, we ask you to ponder why not. Being part of a parish family brings with it great reward and great responsibility. Just as with your own family's life and future, you are part of ours. Making a pledge is a symbol of your "buy in" to our common mission and ministry. Begin with any amount - as an experimental "next step" in fulfilling your commitment to the work of Christ. However small or modest your effort, we know that God will honor and bless it - as will we.
St. Margaret uses your gifts in meaningful ministry always mindful that much has been entrusted to our care. Please make your pledge now so that our Vestry can fully plan the life and labors of our parish for the year.
