O sing unto the Lord a new song...Psalm 98:1

Music is a vital part of our worship lives at St. Margaret.Music can unite our hearts
and souls as the body of Christ and express that which words alone cannot.
Music can soothe the mind, heal the heart, calm and uplift the spirit.

The  primary "choir" at St. Margaret is the congregation - every member is
a gift of God and contributes to our corporate voice in worship.

Our additional choirs provide musical leadership to the congregation and
our goals are to enhance Sunday morning worship, preserve and expand
our musical traditions and illuminate the scriptures.

Most of choirs rehearse weekly, enjoy the social fellowship and
spiritual growth as well as working continuously to improve their musical
skills. All choir members receive a CD to practice with at home,
so music reading, while helpful, is not required.
